Our story began in 2001 in the mountains of the wonderful valley Maira in Piemont/Italy. We met in a "posto tappa", a place where you got a bed and fabulous food, while hiking various days form one "posto tappa" to the next without getting in contact with civilization guided by the interesting book: Antipasti und alte Wege. Valle Maira - Wandern im anderen Piemont.
We both love plants and adore being outside, so we were sure that our future won`t be in Germany or Switzerland. While our children didn´t have to go to school we were traveling around in a caravantruck looking for a land that could serve as subtropical garden and camping place and found this marvelous avocado finca at the entrance of the breathtaking Caldera de Taburiente.
We cultivated avocados for years and now we plan to diversify our work and share our place and our knowledge about plants and processing them.
