We are a Swiss-German family (Sylvie, Franz and our two sons Thomas and Philip). We decided to move to La Palma 10 years ago to realize our sustainable project and to live in a more eco-friendly life. We cultivate avocados and a diversity of exotic fruits. Our product refinement is to dry fruits and create different jams, chutneys and mojos.

 

Our place is very peaceful, quiet and special, situated at the entrance of the breathtakingly espectacular Caldera de Taburiente National Park. Our electricity comes from solar panels and is limited. It's also important for us to control the consumption of water because the area is really dry.

Why Finca Heidi?

​

"Heidi" is the most read story in Switzerland written by Johanna Spyri in 1880/81. An orphelin girl (Heidi) was taken by her aunt to the grandpa, who lived without luxury  and civilization stuff in the mountains. There she fell in love with simple life, nature, calm and liberty. This book inspire us for our project.
